GH Phipps in-house Concrete Services group utilized BIM technology on this project to create detailed structural concrete lift drawings. These drawings represented pour sequence and highlighted critical building system interface areas such as blockout and embed locations. The 3D drawings helped the field to visualize the specific concrete construction work, and the model was accessible to produce any view and clarify questions. The model was also used to schedule material quantities and support quantities provided in the estimate.
